An Interview with LMB
LMB is Lois McMaster Bujold--an Interview
Via View from the Foothills
Ms. Bujold is an old standby of the science fiction community, but I must admit to having read through only one of her books. It isn't that I haven't been interested, but every time I pick one up, some other glittering bauble distracts me. Suggestions anyone for the best one to read? The one that will make me embrace the oeuvre?

Steven,
ReplyDeleteSorry, I can't help you. I've also read one of her books but wasn't interested sufficiently to go after a second one. No particular reason that I can think of right now.
Her "Miles Vorkosigan" series is probably what she's best known for, so that might be your best bet.
Dear Fred,
ReplyDeleteYes--I've read part of MV; however, I had the same reaction you did. I'm hoping some gentle reader might have more insight into it than I do and recommend the "best" to start with.
shalom,
Steven
