A consideration of Anthony Powell's A Dance to the Music of Time a series I have long wanted to read, but which I've never made any real effort to get into.
Same here - finally found the 1st three books in one volume in a charity shop, and I've just started them. Always been interested in how widely opinions on the series vary - Powell is never without his champions (Ian Rankin, Tariq Ali), so they never quite go out of fashion.
