Perhaps the most delightful friendships are those in which there is much agreement, much disputation, and yet more personal liking.

This Week's Poem of the Week--Wow!
John Milton's Lycidas is not what I'd call a low access point poem. Even with considerable, robust help, this poem can challenge the best of us. I'm glad to see the Guardian making it more known and prominent, but it certainly falls out of the usual pattern of easy access and low-entry. Nevertheless, like some of the lines from "Comus: A Masque"--the graceful, lyrical and elegaic lines of "Lycidas" are worth more than one read.
