To Say Nothing of the Dog--Connie Willis

Connie Willis may be one of the most underestimated talents in Science Fiction.  Her legion of fans seems to be of the quieter sort, because you don't see her as much touted as, say, Gene Wolfe, or Philip K. Dick, or William Gibson.  And yet, there is about her work a strong sensibility and an even stronger style.
