More people need to know about and read this real treasure of a book. It is a shame that the ghettoization of certain genres has kept great fiction out of the hands of many readers. This is one of those books you should pick up even if you don't care for SF, like U. K. LeGuin's The Dispossessed and Philip K. Dick's The Man in the High Castle it really is one of the indispensable titles of the genre--a neglected masterwork to the world at large.
