Neglected Books

Neglected Books links us to lost classics of the early 20th century

Sinclair Lewis, F. Scott Fitzgerald and others name good books nearly no one has read.  I was gratified to see John Cowper Powys's A Glastonbury Romance on one of the lists.

  1. While in grad school, I don't think I ever heard Powys' name mentioned, even in passing. I know I never took a class which included him on the reading list.

A short time ago, while browsing in a used book store, I ran across a book by Powys, _Three Fantasies_.

It's no doubt a coincidence that your reference came now when I'm finishing up the third and last tale. All three can best be described as quirky fantasies.
